I did it! Yesterday I went back to the gym – I managed to finish my workout… or perhaps I should say my workout finished me! My levels of fitness have dropped significantly, however… I felt so proud of myself for going and when I got home I felt as though I’d already lost the unwanted extra stone!
It’s easy to forget, when life kind of goes off in all directions, that actually the main priority always needs to be your health and fitness – because if you don’t look after yourself, everything else in life becomes that much harder and that much more of a struggle!
I’ve also been keeping track again in My Fitness Pal. I’m not going to say I’ve cracked it because only time will tell if I have, but I am confident in saying that I’m truly working hard on this!
Next week I have an appointment with a fitness instructor, apparently now they can put your exercise program on a credit card thingy that you slot into the exercise equipment and it tells you everything you need to be doing and programs the machine accordingly and records your achievements – this sounds fantastic to me and I’m really looking forward to getting started properly – in between times I’m intending to go and just do my own thing at least twice more this week.
I’m still not an organised person and to be honest I doubt if I will ever be… though I need to at least try because there is so much going on that my head is in total chaos and it reflects in other areas of my life – like the state of my house – but I do take comfort in this…
