Tired But Productive

I woke up this morning half expecting to see my eyelashes on the pillow… but they are all still attached to my eyelids ;) though I have a slightly detached one on my right eye – as long as it stays put till Saturday I’ll be happy :D One thing I know for sure… I absolutely love them and I already know I’m going to be addicted to them!

So pleased to see they are all still there :)

This morning I had my nails done. I don’t know why this always happens but I left with a perfect set… my nails looked stunning and I was very happy… I popped in to see my daughter on the way to Town. I then went into town to buy some accessories for Saturday… and then I noticed – I had wrecked the polish on my left thumbnail… I have no idea how I did it but to say I was fed up would be a total understatement! I was tempted to go and buy a new polish and start afresh but I don’t have the time or the patience for it right now – so I’m leaving it – I don’t think anyone will notice it but it will irritate me… I’m a perfectionist who can never quite achieve perfection… aaarrrgghhhh!

I took Cynthia for quite a long drive today – which I think was the best thing I could do after my little situation the other day! I needed to get back on the horse so to speak! I put Caro Emerald in the CD player, slipped on my Dior sunglasses and off I went… feeling like the dogs wotsits :D

I hardly had anything to eat during the day today – I was just so busy I didn’t get much of a chance, but I think I made up for it this evening :( not a good idea – the key to dieting success is to distribute your calories evenly through the day in my opinion – so I need to watch this and not make a habit of it. I had Diet Chef for breakfast and lunch but for dinner this evening I had roast chicken breast with salad and Moroccan couscous :) I’m still hungry despite having a small banana, and apple, a packet of DC biscuits and a slice of toast and Marmite – this is why it’s better to eat during the day and not get into a silly hunger situation!

Anyway… I think I should go to bed now – I have a headache starting and I had really bad cramp in both legs tonight, down the front of my shins – it really stressed me out. I’ve always been prone to attacks of cramp but I’ve never ever had it so bad before, nor have I had it down the front of my shins before, normally it’s just my feet and my calf muscles – I’m wondering if it’s because I did a lot of walking this afternoon after not walking for quite a while – either way it wasn’t pleasant and I hope it doesn’t happen again like that :(

So I’m off to bed now with a good book :) night night xxx

    Hope your shins get better and it seems you had an extra busy day.

      Thank you WJ – they’ve been fine since, am hoping it doesn’t happen again – I drove 130 miles last week and was really worried about it happening whilst driving – but all was good :) xxx
